If the reservation was made through a third-party website, including Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Hotwire etc., the cancellation will need to be processed through them directly.
If you would prefer one of our other room types, we are happy to provide any of the following complimentary: shower chair, toilet seat riser, and grip mats.
If you prefer one of the hot breakfast options, you may use the continental breakfast as a credit, please check with your server.

Room PST (8%) – Provincial Sales Tax – tax for short term accommodations
Room GST (5%) – Goods and Services Tax
MRDT (3.1%) – Municipal and Regional District Tax
DMF (1%) – Destination Marketing Fee – any hotels within the City Centre are subject to this tax, which is used to enhance tourism marketing & community initiatives.
Alternatively, limited street parking is also available near and around the hotel. Please note that the spots have time limits during the day but are free from 6 PM – 9 AM every night and on statutory holidays; city parking policies are subject to change without notice.
If you choose to park off-site, you are welcome to use our hotel loading zone to unload luggage and check-in.
While the Magnolia was built in 1997 from the bottom up, the history of the site goes back to the early 1900s. The hotel’s site is a combination of the new hotel building at 623 Courtney and the building at 625 Courtney St, erected in 1912; the original brick wall from 1912 makes up a part of Spa Magnolia.
The businesses that have occupied our space have varied over the years, and ranged from book publishers, car rentals, a paving company, and even a banjo shop! The longest business on-site was the Pro Patrica Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion from 1926 – 1990.
