Victoria Butterfly Gardens
Located a 20 minute drive outside of downtown Victoria you’ll find a tropical oasis in the heart of Brentwood Bay. Home to over 70 species of tropical butterflies, free flying tropical Macaws, pond turtles, koi, dart frogs and even a famous flamingo named Mango, The Butterfly Gardens are the perfect way to spend a peaceful afternoon, rain or shine!
Malahat Skywalk
For a true west coast experience, consider the Malahat Skywalk! 35 minutes from downtown Victoria, you’ll start your journey on the beautiful Malahat drive before arriving at this soaring structure. This unique outdoor attraction features a gentle elevated boardwalk through the forest that leads to a stunning spiral tower with panoramic views of the Saanich Inlet, Gulf Islands, and surrounding mountains. Kids will especially love the exciting spiral slide back down from the top, making it a fun and scenic stop during spring break on Vancouver Island. Fully accessible, this experience is a must for all ages.
Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park
Fly to new heights at Flying Squirrel, the worlds largest indoor trampoline park! Featuring wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, obstacle courses and a dedicated kids area, Flying Squirrel is a great option for those with young and old kids! For the teens and young adults, consider the Neon Lights event, where they can dance to today’s hottest hits under the glow of neon lights! Offered every Friday & Saturday from 9pm-11pm.
WildPlay Element Parks
From treetop adventures to axe-throwing, this aerial park is designed for a range of ages and skills! Wildplay Element Park is located a short drive from downtown Victoria and offers visitors the chance to climb high amongst the forest canopy. Navigate tree-top obstacle courses, where you soar across the trees on the zipline, navigate wobbly wooden bridges and more! For those that prefer to stay firmly grounded, WildPlay also offers axe-throwing.
Royal B.C. Museum
Located just steps from Victoria’s Inner Harbour, the Royal BC Museum is one of the city’s most iconic attractions and a must-visit for those exploring downtown.
